ABOUT ALMAREZ BUKI - JAPANESE MASTER CRAFTMEN

In the summer of 2017, three of the four master craftsmen,
still in business in Japan, evaluated the work of
Almarez Buki.
 

Master Nidome Yoshiaki

All his pairs agree that the best weapons are produced by Master Nidome’s workshops.
It was awarded by the Japanese government the title of "Dento Kogeishi"- Traditional Art Master.

Master Aramaki Yasuo

3rd Generation Bokken Artisan.
The founder, Master Aramaki, began woodworking by manufacturing Bokken 100 years ago, in 1921.
"Aramaki Budogu Mokojo" is undoubtedly the workshop offering the biggest choice of different types of wooden weapons.

Master Matsuzaki Yoshiaki

2nd Generation Bokken Artisan.
Matsuzaki Bokken Workshop was found in 1968.
Like his father, Master Matsuzaki, perpetuates the tradition.
